THE FESTIVAL

A performing arts festival was conducted in February 2023 at Legacy. This Inter school festival gathered many students from several schools to perform and engage their skilled talents. This experience accompanied several perspectives which arose from small but bright ideas innovated by teachers and students together. It contained several events like music and dance competitions, a few workshops and amazing performances by trained professionals to feed the spirit of creativity and indulge in the expression of art. This festival had adopted a tagline of  “Connections” to highlight the need for conversations around mental health. These events revolved around the same theme with the belief that the arts is the safest space to connect with ourselves and the world around us. The festival was like a safe haven, where people could come and express themselves, without judgment or stigma, just like a cocoon protects a caterpillar before it turns into a butterfly.
